Consumer health data privacy policy

Some information you choose to give us can reveal something about your health or pregnancy. This page explains exactly what that is, why we ask, who sees it, and how you stay in control. It goes with our privacy policy.

1. What health-related information we collect

Only one thing: the stage you may choose when you join our newsletter or change your preferences (for example "pregnant" or "thinking about a baby"). It is linked to your email address, and we record the agreement you gave. Choosing a stage is always optional, and "Prefer not to say" stores nothing about your health. We do not collect any other health information on our servers. What you type into the tools on this site (notes, checklists, and so on) stays on your own device and is not sent to us.

2. Why we collect it

  • To choose which weekly email to send you.
  • To keep a record of your agreement.
  • To honor your requests to change or delete it.

We do not use it for advertising or to build a profile of you.

3. Where it comes from

Only from you, through the newsletter form or the preferences link in your emails.

4. Who we share it with

When we send the newsletter, the email-sending tool we use will receive your email address and, so the right email reaches you, your stage. It may use them only to send our emails. We will name that tool on this page before the first newsletter is sent.

5. Your agreement

We collect your stage only after you tick a separate box that says: "I agree that WITHIN Learning Group may store the stage I chose, which may reveal that I am pregnant or planning to be, only to choose which weekly email to send me. I can change it or ask to delete it at any time." You can withdraw that agreement at any time by changing your preferences or unsubscribing. When you unsubscribe we erase your name and stage and keep only your email address and a note that you left, so we do not add you again.

6. Your rights and how to use them

  • Know and access: ask us to confirm whether we hold your information, to give you a copy, and to list the third parties and affiliates it has been shared with or sold to (none, other than the service providers described above).
  • Withdraw your agreement: use "Update your preferences" or "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any email.
  • Delete: email us and we will delete your information.

Write to info@withinlearninggroup.com. We will respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying with the word "Appeal" in the subject line. We will answer your appeal within 45 days and explain our decision. If you are still not satisfied, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General's office.

7. Changes

If we ever collect more health information, we will update this page first, change its date, and ask for your agreement before collecting it.
